UAW LOCAL 863 - SHARONVILLE PLANT
SPECIAL ELECTION NOTICE

There will be an Election on October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016 for the following position:
SHARONVILLE UNIT BARGAINING COMMITTEEPERSON (1) to be elected.

Listed below are the names of the Candidates, as the names will appear on the ballot:
1-A Tina Ball
1-B Big Country Colson Napier
1-C Darlene Oakes
1-D Richard Carpenter
1-E Greg Banks (Hammer)

UAW-Ford Local 863 Members in good standing are eligible to vote. A photo identification is required to
vote. Voting will be by paper-ballot. The Local 863 Election Committee will run the voting process.

Voting Date: October 24, 2016 / October 25, 2016
Voting Time: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Voting will end at 2:00a.m. on October 26, 2016.
Voting Location: Alcove Room inside the Cafeteria at the Sharonville Unit

All UAW-Ford Local 863 (active) Members who are in good standing are eligible to vote.
Members who are on medical may vote at the Sharonville Unit (Alcove Room).
Members who are terminated and have an active-grievance in the system may vote at UAW Local 863 Union Headquarters on October 24, 2016 / October 25, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Candidates and Members:
• Be advised there will be no campaigning within fifty (50) feet of the polling area.
• Please no loitering inside the polling area after you have voted.
• No campaign literature, pens, pencils or the like will be allowed in the polling area.
• Please remember to conduct yourselves in a safe and courteous manner.

Also, Absentee Ballots are available only for Members who will be out of town on assigned Union Business or assigned Company Business on October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016. A request for an Absentee Ballot must be made in writing before Election day, October 24, 2016, and addressed to UAW Local 863 Election Committee, 10708 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Absentee Ballots must be returned to UAW Local 863 Election Committee, 10708 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241, prior to the start of the election on October 24, 2016.

If there is a tie vote, the winner will be determined by a coin-flip.
